Flowy and billowy through a wide leg, with pleats set into the sides and grosgrain ribbons left to hang freely down each one. The shape began as a Japanese-style pant I designed for AVID Dance Company's reproduction of Little Red Riding Hood — as a forest tree costume. As I brought it into RTW, it keeps its natural ease, but with more dramatic flow. It also keeps the comfort of an elastic waistband. Each pair is made to measure, and we choose the fabric together for every order. As good worn casually as it is dressed up — the kind of piece you build an entire look on.
