A couture commission applied to a garment already in your wardrobe — fit altered, silhouette transformed, and new details added until what is new reads as always intended. Pictured: a client-owned Louis Vuitton skirt, lengthened and finished with custom-dyed vintage French lace trim, fully deconstructed and reconstructed as a seamless whole. Like all FERN couture, this work will never be replicated exactly; each commission is singular to the garment and the client it's made for.
